Port Ludlow is located around Port Ludlow Bay on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. The Olympic Peninsula is a unique region in the Pacific Northwest. Although the area is part of the ring of fire around the Pacific, the mountains are not former volcanos.

All homes in Port Ludlow are within an easy 1-15 minute walk to the Puget Sound shoreline.

One of the pleasures of living in Port Ludlow is the opportunity to observe wildlife, particularly birds. Port Ludlow is home to bald eagles, great blue herons, kingfishers, hawks, a large variety of songbirds, and many more varieties of our feathered friends. Port Ludlow is also a regular stop for many species that migrate.

The waters that surround Port Ludlow are also rich with life. Shy harbor porpoise can be observed chasing fish. Gray whales wander in occasionally. River otters cavort. Crabs patrol the bottom and bait fish spawn in the eel grass beds.
